Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital is the first successful project that utilises landfill gas in Combined Heating and Power System (CHP) for a distributed energy system.

EMAHK is pleased to present a technical visit to Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital. The purpose of the visit is to learn more about system generates electricity by landfill gas and recovers the waste heat from flue exhaust and jacket cooling water for steam and hot water generation in Hospital. The project has set a good example of smart usage of the CHP system, the benefits of distributed energy system and social engagement on sustainability.

Participants will gain the opportunity to learn more about utilising landfill gas in CHP and the associated facilities for a distributed energy system.
